Electoral Reform
Although statistically improbable, it is possible that there is another meltdown following the election tomorrow. One where there is a close race in multiple states, the electoral votes differ from the national popular vote, and one where voting fraud is significant enough to be followed by multiple court cases.
In some ways, this would have some possible desirable effects. It would highlight the need for electoral reform in the US, on many levels: From the need for a true representative democracy (away from the divisive and polarizing winner-takes-all/two-party system) and instant runnoff voting to use of citizen councils and other innovations in democracy.
As with most significant changes, it will most likely happen on a local level first. And, it will face major opposition from those who benefit from the current system.
