Election and Perceptions of the US
It is often said that the international public are differentiating the actions by the US government from the US people. And this is for the most part true.
We know that many in the US see through the deception and do not support the policies of the US government.
But if a majority of the US population this time elects Bush? How will the perception change then? It will be difficult to discount the large numbers of people in the US actively supporting a US foreign policy aimed at continuing dominance. A policy where the goals sanctify any means. One that is funded on self-righteousness, blatant lies, unilateralism and violence.
